The benefit comes from the Active Parent Scheme, which replaced erstwhile distributed allowances. The program consists of 3 segments – ‘Active parent’, ‘Active in nursery’ and ‘Active at home’. All parents are supported regardless of income.
Not just 800 plus. Many parents do not know that they can search even more support from the state to rise their children. In the case of the Active Parent scheme, it is intended for the youngest children up to the age of 3. Parents can receive up to PLN 2,700 per period if they meet all the conditions. Thanks to the program you can finance, for example, the stay of the kid in the nursery.
Even 2700 PLN per period for 1 child, together with 800 plus – as much as 3,500 PLN!
The programme, which focuses on erstwhile distributed benefits, includes 3 segments – Active Parent, Active in Childcare and Active at Home.
The first is for parents of children aged 12-35 months. The benefit is PLN 1500 in the basic option and PLN 1900 in the case of a kid with disabilities. Money is paid regardless of income, but provided each parent works.
Another supplement – “Actively in the nursery” – allows to finance the considerable cost of the child’s stay in the nursery while his parents are engaged in professional activities. The benefit of PLN 1500 (or PLN 1900 in the case of a kid with disabilities) goes straight to the care facility. The amount of the allowance may not exceed the actual cost of the nursery and may not exceed PLN 2200.
The “Actively at Home” programme applies to a variety of non-working parents who take care of their children at home. A benefit of PLN 500 per period can be received for 24 months. It serves parents with children aged 12 to 35 months.
The summing-up support for parents under the Active Parent Programme may amount to up to PLN 2,700 per month. Most importantly, receiving benefits can be combined with participation in the 800 plus scheme. The full allowance for 1 tiny kid will then be as much as 3,500 PLN per month!
Applications can be submitted by PUE ZUS, application mZUS, Emp@tia, electronic banking or personally in ZUS.
