According to the project's assumptions, each pensioner would receive PLN 800 per period for all kid raised, provided that the kid works and pays taxes in Poland. This is not only a form of financial support, but besides a way to appreciate parents who raised children. The project's authors stress that this is simply a fair proposal. Seniors who raised active children in Poland contribute indirectly to the financing of pensions of another citizens.

Interestingly, the witness would be given to each parent separately. This means that in the case of raising 2 children, the full amount of support for matrimony would be PLN 1,600 per month. For families who have raised only 1 child, there is PLN 400 per individual per month, which inactive means real support, especially with modest pensions.
The voice belongs to the Sejm
The thought of "800 plus for seniors" went to the parliament in the form of a petition in May 2025. The task gained interest from any parliamentarians, but no decisions have yet been made at this stage. For now, the Ministry of household does not supply for specified pension allowances. However, the subject does not vanish from public space. In order for the task to enter into force, it would be essential to amend existing laws or to introduce completely fresh rules governing specified support.
Valorisation of pensions
In addition to the fresh benefit, the government besides announces the conventional valorisation of pensions in 2026. According to forecasts, the valorisation rate is expected to be about 4.9 percent. What does this mean in practice? If the pension is presently PLN 3000 gross, after the increase, the benefit will increase to about PLN 3147 gross, or PLN 2786.13 net after deduction of premiums and taxes.
Final figures will be presented next year after inflation analysis and wage growth for 2025. However, this gives seniors assurance that their benefits will be somewhat more adapted to economical realities.
