8,5 million Poles voted for “none of the above”?

"Poland divided almost perfectly in half", "Polish electoral draw", "Results broken down by age or place of residence confirmed permanent and deep division into 2 Poland", specified Golden Thoughts We could read and hear in the media after the second circular of the 2025 presidential election. For years the organization concrete and the journalists and experts who have been associated with it have put into our heads that Poland is two.

A reading of the post-election comments reminded me of Aldous Huxley's “New large World”. In the book, society is artificially divided into classes (casts), which disagree in intelligence, appearance and profession. The class is five: Alphas (politicians, scientists, journalists), Betas (techniques and amusement creators), Gammas (office workers), Deltas (physical workers) and Epsilony (do the simplest and most burdensome work).

Each caste is conditioned from birth, through genetic manipulation and training, to accepting its function in society. In the bedrooms of the Neopawlov Conditions Department, sleeping children have peculiar speakers under their pillows, which repeats "words not involving reason".

"A 100 20 repetitions 3 times a week for 30 months".

The voice from the speakers drains all girl and all boy's hatred of the lower social classes and obedience to the higher classes.

Alphas furniture your head

Since 2005, on the occasion of the next presidential elections, we hear about the division of the country into 2 Polish countries: Poland PO and Poland PiS.

For 20 years the Alphas have been telling us that Poland is divided equally.

What's going on with the media speakers? We most frequently hear about how many votes both were given to the presidential candidate. And so, in 2025, Karol Nawrocki won 10.61 million votes, and Rafał Trzaskowski won 10.24 million, which means a difference of only 370 thousand. 5 years earlier, in 2020, Andrzej Duda defeated Rafał Trzaskowski by winning 10.44 million votes against 10.02 million of his rival – the difference was only 420 thousand. In 2015, Duda won with president Bronisław Komorowski who was then in office by 8,63 million to 8,11 million votes (difference of 520 thousand). In 2010, Komorowski won with Jarosław Kaczyński – 8.93 million to 7.92 million (1.01 million difference). And even earlier in 2005, Lech Kaczyński defeated Donald Tusk with a score of 8.26 million to 7.22 million votes, ahead of him by 1.24 million.

"A 100 20 repetitions 3 times a week for 30 months".

On the first drop of the ear, it all fits. We have 2 Polish. Karol Nawrocki won 10 606 877 votes, Rafał Trzaskowski 10 237 286 votes. Difference: 369 591 votes. It went for razor blades.

But erstwhile we take out the media speakers from under the pillow and start reasoning for ourselves, it turns out that individual (meaning) is missing here.

8 518 136 votes for “none of the above”?

There is no 3rd Poland, that is, 1 that rejects artificially created and imposed on us 2 above works. There were no, again, voters who voted for “no of the above”, i.e. they stayed in their homes or went to elections and gave the alleged invalid vote.

In the second circular of the presidential elections in Poland, millions of citizens did not give an crucial vote – either they did not go to the elections or put a void vote in the ballot box.

The numbers tell us how it is.

In 2025, out of 29,363,722 qualified Poles and Poles 8 518 136 it didn't give a large vote.

8 328,842 didn't go to the election.

189 294 citizens went to elections and voted invalid: including the X mark next to the name of both candidates put 101,845 voters, and 87,449 people did not put the X mark next to the name of any candidate.

8 518 136 totiles of residents, including Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Lublin, Białystok, Katowice, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zielona Góra, Rzeszów, Opole, Kielce and Olsztyn, Radom, Sosnowiec, Toruń, Bytom, Wałbrzych, Chorzów.

In 2020, out of 30,268,460 eligible voters, 9,807,280 citizens did not vote, 9 629,556 did not vote, and 177,724 votes were invalid.

In 2015, at 30,688,570 eligible until 13,966,343 voters did not give an crucial vote – including 13,716,112 did not appear at the urns, and 250,231 cast a void vote.

In 2010, there were 30,833,924, of which 13,976,630 had not given an crucial vote – 13,779,234 had not voted, and 197,396 had cast invalid votes.

In 2005, for 30 279 209 eligible until 14,994,758 citizens did not give an crucial vote – 14,839,525 did not go to the election and 155,233 votes were invalid.

Moved Poles

"(...) all political government is based on certain counting or selection operations: determining who is simply a political entity (can actively co-formulate it), who is its subject (it is shaped by it), and who is not at all recognisable in these operations and lives in their shadow (it is “the litter” of politics), writes Dr. Łukasz Moll in an article entitled “Populist crusade of anti-populists”, published in New Citizen.

We so have over 8,5 million citizens who do not have the right to vote in elections.

We have more than 8,5 million citizens who are not political actors, are not political subjects, are at odds with various interest groups holding power in our country.

We have a political class that refuses more than 8,5 million Poles the right to give crucial votes in elections. We have politicians from the left, through the middle, to the right that exclude almost 1/3 of citizens entitled to vote. We have "elites" which, on the 1 hand, have a mouth full of phrases about democracy, free elections and civilian rights. And on the another hand, they break the principles of democracy, free elections and electoral rights.

Voice in another countries

In Belgium, France and Spain, the voter has the right to cast an empty vote, which is included in the full number of valid votes cast in the elections.

Empty voices do not affect the result of elections, they are treated as a way of political protesting against the full political class.

"None of the above" is referred to as "NOTA – no Of The Above", i.e. the anticipation of giving an crucial vote expressing opposition to all candidates, was introduced by the ultimate Court of India in 2013. It is worth noting that about 968 million Indian citizens are eligible to vote.

OSCE and ‘None of the above’

On 13 May we met at the Institute of civilian Affairs with representatives of the Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organisation for safety and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (ZPRE). The gathering was held as part of the global Election reflection Mission (IEOM) in the Republic of Poland. At the meeting, we announced that in our country the right to give an crucial vote to citizens who are entitled to vote is denied.

Unfortunately, the issue of the deficiency of a box "none of the above" on the ballot is not noted in Declaration of Preliminary Arrangements and Proposals. I hope that the problem of excluding Poles and Poles from the electoral process will find its place in the comprehensive final study of ODIHR and in the study of ZPRE, which will be presented on 29 September this year.

Petition to the legislature of the Republic of Poland

"We, the undersigned Citizens, request the amendment of the Electoral Code and the introduction of the “None of the above” box on the ballot".

This is the content of the petition “None of the above” signed by 5,743 Poles and Poles.

Now we are waiting for her analysis and consideration by the higher chamber of the Polish Parliament. I hope that 100 senators, elected in single-mandate constituency, will take seriously the issue of the deprivation of Poles and Poles of the right to give an crucial vote. I'll keep you regularly informed of what's squeaking about in civilian Affairs Week.
