71 Chinese aircraft and ships around Taiwan. What's Beijing planning?

The Ministry of Defence of Taiwan reported on Tuesday the detection of 71 Chinese aviation units and 21 Chinese naval forces operating around the island during the maneuvers started that day. The Taipei authorities have stated that they do not know erstwhile this exercise will end.
