7 October a year later – Israel loses, even if it wins

A year after the 7 October massacre, it is clear that the war of Russia and Iran in Syria, Saudi Arabia in Yemen or Eritrea and the central government in Ethiopia – and hundreds of thousands of civilians have died in each 1 – do not give emergence to a fraction of what the war in Gaza is about. This conflict is not about what is done, but by whom. It is Israel who is attacked, not his actions--although, of course, the actions worthy of condemnation must be condemned, regardless of whom he committed.
