A 66-year-old senator builds a organization “for young people who want to save Poland”. Before that he was tired of fighting a “brown” wave

Senator Wadim Tyszkiewicz, 66, decided to contribute to even greater political chaos in Poland. After decades of management of fresh Sola, which gained him local designation and 4 terms of presidency, and later after winning a legislature mandate as a party-free candidate, he wanted something more.

Of course not power – he assures. Anyway, as he says:

"In no case do I aspire to be a leader. I am 1 among many.”

Sound familiar? It's kind of like "I don't want to, but I have to," only in a senator's version, who inactive late wanted to say goodbye to politics, but abruptly comes back to "help" – although without aspiration, of course.

The fresh party, whose creation is announced, is called Nowa Polska. The political draft of the measure, the organization of all the disappointed, tired, and most of all those whose current political scene does not respond due to the fact that it is not enough... noose? The curious individual describes it this way:

"This is simply a organization based on 3 pillars: self-government, the economy and interior and external security."

So everything and nothing – as happens with batches of the mediate that do not want to annoy anyone, but besides have no chance to kidnap anyone.

When asked about the voter's profile, Tyszkiewicz declares with seriousness worthy of a state statement:

“The fresh organization is to attract those who declare that they will no longer take part in the elections.”

A simple recipe: mobilise the most passive and disappointed citizens with the slogan "We are different due to the fact that we are not at all." That's to fold the anti-political card in an highly political way. And this is erstwhile even the most naive begin to see that the remedy is frequently a comfortable shelter for those who do not want to specify themselves clearly.

Tyszkiewicz claims that the task is based on people who achieved something beyond politics. He speaks of himself and his companions with admiration:

“To a large degree on prominent local governments, who have achieved success in their lives and have done a lot for Poland, on entrepreneurs who are the foundation of the country’s economical development.”

But just so it's not besides elite, he adds a small bit more dramatically:

"...entrepreneurs, military and young people who want to save Poland."

Youth, business and military – as if looking for a expression for something between the startup and the crisis staff. Everything together gives a vague cocktail of expectations and promises, which sounds impressive, though rather empty.

So there is no uncertainty – the program is to be flexible. Tyszkiewicz calms down:

‘The group programme will proceed to evaluate.’

In practice, this means that no 1 knows precisely what is going on. But the most crucial thing is to “evaluate”. To be sure, the senator adds:

"Politics are to be created together with citizens, not imposed from the top."

Of course. Nothing fresh under the sun. The word "citizens make a program" usually ends with individual in the office writing things their own way.

The Senator besides has an incredible consequence in who he won't talk to. First of all:

"Unreservedly excludes" the coalition with the PiS or Grzegorz Braun's party.

After all, the fresh quality must be pure and ideal. Doesn't substance if he says:

“We want to avoid ideological disputes as much as possible.”

But at the same time, it excludes full camps from above. Political neutrality according to Tyszkiewicz resembles a bit of a justice playing in the mediate of the field, who, however, does not hide that he only supports 1 team.

Equally "apolitical" are his statements about Donald Tusk. About the erstwhile Prime Minister, the current leader of the PO, the senator speaks plainly:

“In my opinion, Tusk is mentally broken. He's aware of the threat. I do not know what he will do.”

This is not a political comment – it is simply a diagnosis, like from the therapist's office. And most likely a way to be even more separated from any association with the Platform, even though the electorate of both environments can be rather overlapping.

Besides, Tyszkiewicz himself threatened to leave public life only recently. After the election, he wrote dramatically:

"I'm not talking to you. I say goodbye.”

And he explained:

"It's a different Poland than the 1 I've been building since 2002. My imagination of modern, European, self-government Poland, friendly people, lost to a brown vision, with lies and hatred.”

As you can see, saying goodbye to politics is simply a national sport, but it doesn't always end with leaving the building.

However, he shortly later explained that:

"My public activity will only be limited to parliamentary work for 2 more years and then the end."

And then he announces the construction of a fresh party. I mean, "I'm not getting active anymore, but I'm just gonna start 1 more formation and possibly turn the political scene upside down."

In summary: Wadim Tyszkiewicz is simply a politician who does not want to be a politician, assumes a party, but does not want to be a leader, does not want to share ideology, but excludes half the phase in advance, announces the end of his career, but immediately takes on something new. All this in the name of the “new quality” to be, but it is not yet known what, due to the fact that the program is “evaluating”.

At a time erstwhile Poland needs clear attitudes, strong leaders and concretes, the senator proposes... a political mush of the middle. fresh Poland, according to his announcement, is to be for those who no longer want any Poland – at least the real one, with choices, decisions and responsibility. Tyszkiewicz managed to make something truly rare: a fresh decision that already looks tired at the start.
