The legislature Committee on Petitions is examining the proposal to introduce a one-off benefit for long-term marriages. The initiative, commonly referred to as "500 plus for marriages", provides additional support for couples who have survived together for at least 50 years. The debate on the task is on. How much can they get and who could benefit?
