The European Commission has announced that EUR 43.7 billion, or about PLN 185 billion, will go to Poland from the SAFE programme - said Deputy Prime Minister, national defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Tuesday. As he estimated, this decision was a large success of Poland and a warrant of further investment in the safety and improvement of the Polish arms industry. Previously Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that "Poland will be by far the biggest beneficiary" of the SAFE programme.
