The prosecutors and the Air Aviation Accident Investigation Commission are inactive investigating the causes of the tragedy that occurred before the Air Show. The circumstances in which Major Maciej “Slab” Krakowian, pilot F-16, died, stay unknown, but there is no deficiency of speculation in public space. The parent unit “Slaba” calls not to duplicate untested information.

Multiple theories about accident during preparation for the Air Show in Radom led the command 31 Tactical Air Base to issue an authoritative message. "In view of the many comments and speculations about the tragic event in Radom, we call on the media and the public to refrain from publishing unverified information," we read on the website and on the profiles of the Database.
Caution towards “experts”
"The case is presently being clarified by the Commission's Panel on Aviation Accident Investigation and the origin of the incidental is not yet known", the Communication stresses. "Any unverified opinion or conjecture may mislead, provoke unnecessary emotions and hinder reliable information to the public," the authors of the appeal pointed out.
Command 31 BLT deplores that there are many commentators in the media space that mention to themselves as "experts". "We call for specified statements to be treated with critical analysis and caution in interpretation, as not all individual speaking publically actually has expertise in the area," he noted.
