Many parents began to complete the school expedition. Fortunately, the Social Insurance Institution has already started withdrawals under the Good Start program. Nearly 1.6 million students benefited from the support. What can you do to get the money before the first bell? ZUS has already paid over PLN 212 million. Parents who applied in early July received money even in a fewer days. Importantly, in accordance with the applicable rules, if the application is submitted by the end of August, the funds must be entered in the account by 30 September at the latest. However, as the practice shows, the sooner we get the essential formalities, the sooner we get the money.

How and where to apply? The application for 300 plus can only be submitted by electronic means: via the mZUS application, the PUE ZUS portal, online banking or the Emp@tia portal. What is necessary? You must prepare: your name, PESEL, school name and address, bank account number, telephone number and email address. Who will receive PLN 300 and what can they be allocated to? The Good Start programme is simply a one-time, yearly benefit that is awarded to all learning kid up to the age of 20 (or 24 for children with a disability). The financial support amounts to PLN 300 and, importantly, there are no income thresholds in this case. Money belongs to everyone, regardless of their earnings. The funds received can be utilized to acquisition school trips: textbooks, notebooks, school supplies or footwear. The Good Start program does not apply to students in grades or students. Who will receive the first witness? Although in the explanation of Good Start applications can be submitted until the end of November, it is not worth delaying the completion of documents. Those who want to receive money to complete the expedition should not postpone the formalities. The sooner the application is filed, the sooner the money gets into the account. Change for Ukrainian studentsFrom the upcoming school year 2025/2026 a major change for Ukrainian exile children will be introduced. These students will be able to benefit from support 300 plus only if they attend school in the Polish education system. Those who proceed education in the Ukrainian strategy in distant mode will not receive benefits.
