The Polish Military Center for civilian Education, Colonel Maria Porwita in Warsaw, warmly invites to the 27th Festival of Children's Works of the Polish Army, which will be held in Bydgoszcz on 7-10 May 2025. The festival took the honorary patronage of the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The festival is simply a flagship cultural task of the Military Centre for Civic Education. It is simply a forum for the presentation of talents, skills and effects of hard work of children and youth, developing their artistic interests in clubs of military units throughout Poland, frequently in distant garrisons. It is besides a unique chance for integration, artistic confrontation and exchange of experience.

The Festival will be officially opened on 7 May (Wednesday) at 9:00 at the Kinoteatra Club of the Armed Forces Support Office at ul. Dwernickiego 1 in Bydgoszcz. The beginning program includes the performance of the Military Orchestra in Bydgoszcz, commemorative speeches and announcement of the verdict of the jury of the artistic competition entitled “80th anniversary of the end of planet War II”. Immediately after the opening, at 10:00 a.m., the beginning of the works awarded in the plastic competition will take place. From 11:00 a.m. competition presentations (part 1).
The next days of the Festival will abound in further competition presentations (8 and 9 May), giving the audience the chance to admire the diverse artistic talents of children and young people.
A peculiar item of the programme will be the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the end of planet War II, which will be held on 8 May (Thursday) in the Old marketplace Square in Bydgoszcz from 16:30 to 18:30. As part of the event, the participants of the Festival were scheduled to march together with invited guests, delegations and Youth Orchestra Dęta "Kujavia", a ceremony with the participation of military honorary assistance, banner message and Military Orchestra in Bydgoszcz, commemorative speeches, a ceremony of laying wreaths and bundles under the Monument of the Fight and Martyrdom of Bydgoszcz Land, a show of the parade drill of the Military Orchestra in Bydgoszcz and a commemorative performance of the participants of the Festival.
The item of the Festival will be the Gala Concert, which will be held on 10 May (Saturday) at 14:00 in the Old marketplace Square in Bydgoszcz. During the performance will be performed by participants of the Festival and the Military Orchestra in Bydgoszcz, the verdict of the jury of the Festival will be announced and awards and awards will be presented, as well as commemorative speeches will be provided.
Young artists will hone their skills at workshop meetings and during rehearsals. Then, during competition hearings open to the public, the Artists will be assessed by the Artistic Board of the Festival. This year's jury includes, among others, Cezary Domagala, actor, manager and creator of children's performances, Anna Sztejner-Pierczyńska, musical, theatre and dubbing actress, who is besides theatre educator and Tadeusz Seibert, actor, jazz vocalist and winner of tv programs, among others, "The Chance for Success" and "The Voice of Poland", as well as representatives of the typical Artistic squad of the Polish Army, the Club of General Command of Types of Armed Forces and WCEO.
The aim of the festival meetings is to advance children's artistic work, exchange and enrich experience, form cultural identity, advance tradition and past of Polish weapons and educate in a patriotic spirit.
The festival is accompanied by additional events, and admission to all of them is free.
