Today there are many different updates from the direction of Kupinsk

As I pointed out in the erstwhile material, according to Ukrainian intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, the expected Russian winter-spring offensive is taking place in this region.
The main goal of Russian forces in this area is to capture Kupansk.

Buying is simply a strategically crucial city for 3 main reasons
Firstly, Kupansk is an crucial logistics point and railway hub that the Russians could usage for further deployment to the south and east.
Secondly, winning the Kupansk would supply support from the flank, which is essential for attacking the Kharkivs – without winning the Kupansk circular of Kharkov is virtually impossible.
Thirdly, the Kupansk business would facilitate the accomplishment of 1 of the most crucial Russian political objectives, as 1 of the stated main objectives of the alleged peculiar military operation is to establish control over the full Donetsk and Luhansk circuits.

For this reason, the Russians have long planned attacks on Kupańsk, and as part of these efforts they have tried to win Synkiwka for up to 12 months, with highest strength in the last 2 months
In the end, however, the Ukrainians created a powerful set of fortifications, traps and minefields that completely destroyed all Russian efforts.

For this reason, the Russians regrouped their forces in January and then abruptly attacked south of Kysliwa, successfully penetrating Ukrainian defence and reaching Tabaiwa.
The main Russian goal was to circular Kysliwka

If we look at the topographic map, we will see that in reality control of Tabaiwka is of secondary importance, due to the fact that this settlement is located in the lowland.
The real fortress arises around Kysliwka and close tiny settlements as they are located on the hills.
Therefore, it is highly crucial for Ukrainians to prevent Kysliwka from falling.

Fortunately for the defenders, the Ukrainian command decided to deploy reserves to stabilize the front line in this region and thwart Russian plans

Geolocation materials from this area show how Ukrainians carry out all kinds of attacks on Russian infantry, vehicles and dense equipment, with peculiar emphasis on FPV drone attacks.
Some of the equipment, the demolition of which is seen in the photographs, includes a 2C19 MSTA-S self-propelled system, as well as a MT-12 Haubice.

Incidentally, 1 of the films shown clearly shows an attack on the Starlink device, which confirms its widespread usage by the Russian military.

Recent updates indicate that, due to the fact that Kysliwka's effort to orbit completely failed, Russian forces diverted their efforts further south
According to Ukrainian military analysts, elements of the Russian First Tank Regiment and the Fifteenth Motorised firearm Regiment conflict to decision towards Kupańsk from the south-east close Tabaiwa and Krochmalne, so Russian command moved at least 3 assault units to this area to support efforts to break Ukrainian lines and redirect advancement northwest of Swatwe.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski late visited the front line in Kupansk, receiving first-hand information from commanders in the area and offering support to residents who have late suffered from mortar shelling, which reached residential areas
This visit was interpreted as a message that Kupańsk is presently of the highest strategical importance

In general, the timely decision of the Ukrainian command to deploy reserves, combined with the successful usage of fortifications and traps in the region, prevented the Russians from developing their confederate offensive direction and disrupted the plan to end the Kysliwka lap from the south.
Kysliwka is simply a key point of the current front line, whose fall could endanger Kupinskovsky.
According to many analysts, the strategical importance of Kupańska exceeds even the importance of Awdijiwka, which makes it a key point in the current defence strategy.
Ultimately Ukraine must defend Kupansk to guarantee that Kharkiv will never become another mark of Russian forces.

However, Russian forces have opened much more mutually supportive attack axes in the Lugansk region
The scale of this joint offensive operation is enormous, and it is something that the Russians have never done before.
