223. A feast of ingratitude.

“Patriotism is simply a feeling that characterizes people who are, you might say, morally higher developed” – the grandpa who even on the independency Day had to divide Poles into better and worse. I have a feeling he misjudges himself as a patriot. This time it was ensured that before the show he would pee, fasten his fly, individual would shake his dandruff and fix his tie, individual would make certain he had paired shoes. How many more Christmases before Brezhnev? More and more they hide it from cameras and microphones, little and little to say in their own party. Why bother Grandma?

Wojciech Młynarski – Why upset Grandma

What has been called the march of independency since it was organized by fascists looks rather symbolic. Loons and smokes float over Warsaw, through speakers and with banners shouting hateful slogans. Hitler'd most likely be happy, Putin would be happy. By the way, while during the Nazi business in October 1943 there were street riots between fans of Kraków's teams on the grounds of Garbarni derby. At the time a territory officer from the Podgórski marketplace Square, an SS officer, learned that Poles with Poles were fighting, so he allowed them to continue. The Nazis have not intervened, ours have been banging each another for a while. I like an SSman year by year to carry out successive generations of our compatriots, any of whom describe it as ‘jetelmens agriment’ (not to correct), many of them arrived for the march today.

Deserter – My country

There is simply a war going on across the east border of Poland, Poland is inactive within the scope of a possible attack, and our independency is defended by Ukrainian soldiers, NATO weapons, the European Union defends. And what gratitude of Poles looks like, you know. Anyway, did you hear any thanks present for regaining your freedom in 1989? Something about Mazovia, Wales, Curon, Geremek? How about millions of strikers out there putting their lives on the street? The president was babbling about Christian values, and Kosiniak Kamysz believed that freedom was prayed in peasant huts from Gietrzwald to Częstochowa. I'm disgusted.

Drawing on the subject of gratitude: Onet made a probe on the manifestations of patriotism. Do you know what kind of patriotic behaviour he came up with?

- Attendance in the election.
-Representing Poland abroad in a affirmative way
-Showing Polish culture to guests from abroad, for example Polish dishes
- Choosing Polish products and services
- Visiting historical sites in Poland
- Hanging the flag during state holidays
-Promoting Polish culture in social media
-Talks about Polishness at home
- Transmission of household recipes
-Tracking the success of Polish athletes, creators

You have noticed that there is no culture in the list, there is no sport, there is no teaching about Polish past and culture, there is no care about preservation of monuments, there is no creation of Polish products and services, and there is no financing of any of the things mentioned here. Just, if individual “se graciously watches and talks about it”, then yes, it is simply a patriot, but to immediately financially support the restoration of monuments or the creation of national parks....? Or work on it?! The occupation is BE! Fuck, fuck, fuck!

And above that, something about gratitude for another kind of freedom. Below is the legend of independent artists:

Meanwhile, my friend Sława, along with the Teatr Małe Mi, performed on the phase of the Children's Festival Współna Niepodległa, in the courtyard of the ASP in Warsaw, to present her art “Kalosz szczukęci”. If individual was fortunate to be there alternatively of on the march, it means that he knows what it looks like to connect Poles and where to look for a community.
