Due to the ongoing war, the situation of the civilian population in Ukraine is very hard during the winter period – there are fire-fires on private buildings, but besides on critical infrastructure, including power substations or heat and power plants. any of the most affected by the war of the regions are the Suma and Charkowski circuits.
Therefore, the Polish Humanitarian Action launched support for civilians surviving in these 2 circuits. They will be given to the aged and with disabilities, families forced to flee their homes and households run by women.
A full of 4,448 people, including 420 internally displaced persons, will receive cash aid to let them to acquisition heating supplies in the coming winter period or in-kind firewood assistance.
Distributions are carried out in cooperation with local PAH partners – Nove Misto in the Sumpo Oblast and Stabilization Support Services in the Kharkiv Oblast.
As part of our activities, 4448 people will be helped.
