The European Union plans to adopt the 20th package of sanctions against Russia on 24 February – on the 4th anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This information was confirmed in Brussels by the European Commission's spokesperson for abroad Affairs Anouar El Anouni. The fresh restrictions are to be another EU consequence to Moscow's actions and to further political and economical pressure.
