On 31 July, the legislature of the Republic of Poland unanimously adopted a draft amendment to the Act governing the position of anti-communist opposition activists and persons persecuted for political reasons. This amendment aims to extend the ellipse of persons entitled to benefit from the benefits and privileges of the Act.
