The Social Insurance Institution sets the time limits for the payment of benefits for each child. The money goes to parents and guardians' accounts on 10 specified dates: 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 of each month. Sometimes transfers are made 1 or 2 days earlier. The change in the payout calendar 800 plus will occur, among another things, in November 2025. Then the first date set by the Social Insurance Institution is Sunday 2 November, while 1 November is simply a public holiday. In accordance with the principle, if the planned deadline is simply a day off, the benefit is paid in advance - on the last working day before the weekend. As a result, payments will be made on 31 October. This means that persons to whom ZUS pays the benefit 800 plus 2nd day of the period in October will receive as many as 2 payments - October and November. The first 1 reached them on 2 October of that year, and the second 1 will appear on 31.
800 plus - to what age? Parents can receive PLN 400 each
Educational benefit 800 plus is valid for all kid under the age of 18 - regardless of income in the family. By 2024 the support was paid in the amount of PLN 500 per month, while now it is 800 zł. The processing of applications shall be carried out by the Social Insurance Institution and each settlement period shall run from 1 June of the year afraid to 31 May of the following year.
If you apply from 1 February to 30 June of the year in which the period starts, you will be entitled to benefits from 1 June to 31 May of the following year (e.g. if you apply from 1 February to 30 June 2025, you will receive benefits from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026).
- read the ZUS communication. The application can be submitted online via bank, eZUS platform, Emp@tia portal or mZUS application. Payments shall only be made in non-cash form. Importantly, if, according to the court's ruling, alternate care is exercised over the child, the benefit may be divided between 2 guardians. In this case each parent will receive PLN 400.
