120 attempts to illegally cross the border, including 110 people turned around in view of Polish patrols inside Belarus, is the number of events that took place yesterday on the Polish-Belarusian border. There was besides a dangerous situation with the usage of slingshots.
Around 7:00 p.m. in the area of authoritative responsibility, the Polish patrol was fired from a slingshot by a group of aggressive migrants on the Belarusian side of the border. The full incidental resulted in 2 broken windows in the Border Guard's service car. Fortunately, no of the officers were hurt.
In the area of authoritative work of the SG Facilities in the Orthodox and Bialowieża Dubich, migrants attempted to push the border into 40-member groups. Polish patrols protecting the border of our country did not let it to be overtaken.
A full of 10 people were revealed yesterday, who illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border. They've all been stopped. This is 7 Syrian citizens, 2 Yemeni citizens and a Eritrean citizen.
Since the beginning of 2023, more than 24,000 attempts of illegal crossing the Polish-Belarusian border have already been recorded on the section protected by the Podlaskie Border defender Division.
