It turns out that any Poles can, after fulfilling certain conditions, collect a German household benefit for children, the alleged Kindergeld, even if they are permanently in Poland. This benefit is due regardless of income and can be combined with Polish 800 plus (although at the time it is incomplete). In practice this means the anticipation to get up to PLN 1100 per period per child.
