It was a small over 11 kilometres long and had 11 stations. It allowed travel from Ursynów and Mokotów to confederate Śródmieście. Passengers were carried by 14 russian trains (the russian Union itself was already dead). On Friday, April 7, 1995, the first section of the Warsaw metro was opened.
