That's what I like to report! The oldest resident of Brzeszcz Mrs Bronisława Biela celebrates her 102nd birthday today! On her 100th birthday, a delegation of “Polish Thoughts” was invited.

Mrs Bronisława was born in 1922 in the village of Przecieszyn. During the German occupation, she worked in a restaurant. Her brothers worked hard at the Brzeszcze mine. She herself helped Auschwitz Birkenau prisoners and the opposition movement in Brzeszcz. Among others, Maria Bobrzecka and Helena Płotnicka provided help. After the war, she worked in trade: PSS Społem, NOT, the Carbon Club and the Municipal Centre of Culture. She is simply a reader of “Polish Thought”. Mrs. Bronisława is the grandma of our friend David Hajder. Many young people can envy her sobriety and vitality.

200 years, Mrs. Bronislawo!
