The historical hall “Sokola” in Kraków was virtually bursting in the seams. In the large event organized by the White Raven publishing house, the 1000th anniversary of the Polish Crown was celebrated and the 20th anniversary of the death of St John Paul II. More than a 1000 people gathered in the area and respective twelve viewers online (Biała Kruk's YouTube channel) were addressed, among others, by Bishop Antoni Długosz, ed. Rafał Ziemkiewicz, Fr. Prof. Robert Skrzypczak, Prof. Andrzej Nowak or prof. Grzegorz Kucharczyk. The gathering was led by ed. Jakub Maciejewski.

The first part of the event mentions the size of St John Paul II. Bishop Antoni Długosz recalled the actuality of the message of the Holy Father, who always placed God first. “No 1 can full realize man without Christ. Jesus was always at the center of the teaching of St John Paul II. He reminded many times that the way of the Church is man, and so it is not indifferent what people experience here on Earth. Therefore, the Church stands up for the conceived life. Therefore, the Church does not consent to euthanasia due to the fact that all man has the right to natural and dignified death. The Church stands up for the nations where human rights are violated. In a peculiar way, the Pope made the planet delicate to the destiny of children and young people. He said to them, "You are my hope and the hope of the Church."
Adam Bujak, co-author of the fresh book “The top of Poles” and the papal photographer who spent more than 40 years of his life with Karol Wojtyła, besides referred to the large and sacred figure of Pope from Poland. “I am touched to remember all the moments I could spend with the Pope, earlier here in Krakow and later in Rome. At the same time, I look with horror at what happened in Poland after his departure. That we have lived to the Bolshevik times again in Poland," bitterly, harshly and truly said Adam Bujak.
Jolanta Sosnowska, author of the book "The top of Poles", pointed out the function of suffering in the life of John Paul II. "The Pope suffered, for example, due to the fact that he offered up his suffering, what he himself admitted, offered up his suffering for the good of the Church, and besides, he was consciously not only speaking, but showing his attitude that illness is not a burden without any affirmative value. On the contrary, if it is lived in communion with Christ, it becomes a origin of hope, salvation and resurrection."
The next part of the ceremony was dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of Bolesław Chrobry's coronation. The event in the Kraków Falcon was the premiere of 2 unique anniversary books by the publishing home Biały Kruk: “The First Kingdom” by Prof. Wojciech Polak and “Polish Monarchy” by prof. Grzegorz Kucharczyk.
The first pointed out how large Poland was a power a 1000 years ago. "At that time Poland was the strongest European country in the world. There was no specified second powerful, large state. individual will say the German Reich. All right, the German Reich was big, it was powerful, but it was divided into counties, principalities, margraves and these earls, princes and margraves would most gladly kill each other, they were so conflicted," explains Prof. Polak. "Boleslaw Chrobry ruled a single, compact, powerful, strong state that dictated its order throughout Central Europe. It was indeed a power, it was a power,” says the author of the book “The First Kingdom”.
Professor Grzegorz Kucharczyk pointed out that Chrobry is an example of ambitious, sovereign and arrogant Poland, and so the first king of Poland is an highly crucial and current example. "In the mediate of the 3rd decade of the 21st century, erstwhile we mention the millennium of coronation of the first kings of Poland, the more we should renew this, together with the remembrance of the Polish kingdom, the call to respect our history, to make courage to get free of the fear of undertaking ambitious tasks as a national community," said prof. Grzegorz Kucharczyk, author of the book "Polish Monarchy".
The culmination of the evening was the speeches of 3 co-authors of the latest book by the publishing home Biały Kruk entitled “The Bomb on Polishness”, which appeared on the bookshop marketplace virtually the day before yesterday. This book is simply a moving manifesto of the top authorities of the Polish right, informing against systematic demolition of national identity, culture and sovereignty of Poland. This is simply a book that not only exposes the mechanisms of this fight, but, above all, calls for defence of Polishness before it is besides late. 3 of her co-authors – Fr. Prof. Robert Skrzypczak, ed. Rafał Ziemkiewicz and Prof. Andrzej Nowak – took the level during this beautiful ceremony.
Prof. Andrzej Nowak pointed out that the current power aims to expel patriotism from the nation and threatens Poland without Poles. Referring to the glorious anniversary of the 1000 years of the Polish Crown, the co-author of the “Strike for Polishness” said: “Our past is not only martyrdom and tragedies, but above all an extraordinary cultural heritage created by generations of Poles. The symbol of this Polishness is, among others, the church of the Holy Cross in Warsaw – the place of crucial patriotic events and the remainder of the hearts of large Poles: Frederick Chopin and Władysław Reymont. It is here, close Krakowskie Przedmieście, that Chopin lived and grew up, and his presence symbolizes a Polish identity recognized around the world. We must not underestimate this tradition and spiritual wealth of Polishness.”
Fr Prof. Robert Skrzypczak, another of the co-authors of the “Form to Poland” referred to the rich Catholic life in Poland, which flourished 20 years ago. "In the life of John Paul II it was not uncommon that I confessed to 3 or 4 in the morning, and my hands hurt from giving Holy Communion. However, much has changed since then. Much changed into the liturgical memory of St.John Paul II 5 years ago, or 22 October 2020. Girls dressed in black with red lightning hatched on the streets. There was profanity and blasphemy. Jesus was wrapped in rainbow flags. Men defending churches were attacked. Unfortunately, Polish society loses interest in both the past and the future. Meanwhile, the answer to this collapse lies in this triad: the person, household and nation," said Fr. Prof. Robert Skrzypczak.
ed. Rafał Ziemkiewicz, who besides wrote an highly crucial text in the book "The Attack on Polishness", answered the question of why in Poland there is specified a fierce attack on the family, nation and identity. “The pedagogy of shame is based on the fact that we are expected to be the same as Germany or the French, only withdrawn in time, specified poor. Nothing more wrong. We're different. Poles created their republican and freedom identity, in many ways our civilisation was better than what existed in the West. This Polish identity, this heritage of the Republic, is inactive within us – but we are systematically working to destruct it," said Rafał Ziemkiewicz.
At the end, White Raven authors signed their books and talked to Readers for over an hour.
