On 1 January there will cease to be a Republic of Mountain Karabach

On 1 January 2024, the self-solvation of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh - a separatist Armenian parastate in the territory of Azerbaijan, which existed since December 1991. The end of independency of this region is simply a consequence of the Azerbaijani military operation carried out there in September 2023 and resulting in the exodus of Mountain Karabach residents to Armenia.
