Apple has been fined an EU antitrust fine of more than 1.8 billion euros ($1.95 billion), for the first time in history, for preventing Spotify and another music streaming services from informing users about payment options outside the App Store. The European Commission's decision follows a 2019 complaint filed by Swedish music streaming service Spotify over this regulation and Apple's 30 percent fees on the App Store.
