A justice can't be a minister at the same time. Żurek made his decision
Let us remind you that Żurek has been a justice so far. For 20 years, he ruled in the territory Court of Krakow. He was besides a associate of the National Judicial Council and its spokesman. He openly criticized the reforms of Zbigniew Ziobra.

They claim that I have possible – he mentioned then. It's all indications that he's going to want to usage that possible now.
In connection with his appointment as minister, he will gotta waive his position as judge. In accordance with the provisions, "a justice who has been appointed, appointed or elected to service in state bodies, local government, diplomatic, consular or global bodies operating under global agreements ratified by the Polish Republic shall resign immediately unless he is retired".
Agata Adamek of TVN24 reported that "she has information straight from the justice that on July 24 she intends to make this decision already formally, meaning she will renounce her state of justice."
– With all the benefit of the inventory associated with this decision, that is, the deficiency of judicial immunity and, in fact, the impossibility of returning to the office of justice due to the fact that the procedure of returning to the position of justice requires the approval of the President," concluded the journalist.
