"Russia hits military-related logistics nodes in Kiev – MON . The attacks included respective dual-use components and drone parts, reported the Ministry of Defence in Moscow."

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported attacks on transport and logistics facilities in Kiev and surrounding areas carried out during the night; they were hit at places utilized to operate goods and components for drones intended for the Ukrainian army.

In the Wednesday communication, the ministry stated that among the targets attacked with precision long-range weapons was the logistics center of the MLP-Cchajek, which stored and distributed components for long-range and medium-range drones.

The innovative terminal and the logistics centre of Nova Poshta were besides hit by the Ministry as 1 of ‘largest automated sorting complexes’ operating dual-use goods, including drone parts, robotic systems and electronic combat equipment.

The Ministry besides reported an attack on the Trans-Logistic transport hub, which produces various types of drones and stores military supplies for Ukrainian forces, and on the Epicenter logistics centre – a large, automated warehouse where dual-use goods and drone components were besides processed and stored for Ukrainian troops.

In the wider area of Kiev, the attacks included a terminal in Brewery, a logistics hub of Raben Ukraine and another Nova Poshta sorting complex; all these facilities participated in supplying parts to drones, including these abroad productions.

Furthermore, as reported in the release, the attacks hit 3 vessels flying close Odessa, carrying military charges.

Recordings circulating on social media show smoke bubbles floating over Kiev and its suburbs, and authorities have published photographs of warehouses destroyed and turned into rubble.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Situation Service reported that 14 people were killed as a consequence of the night attack and 27 were injured.

The service reported that rescue teams worked at 7 locations throughout the region, and in the warehouses in the town of Brewery and in the villages of Welyka Dymerka, Kwitnewe and Peremoha massive fires broke out.

The Ukraine Air Force reported that the massive attack utilized 4 Cyril/Oniks anti-ship missiles, 24 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, and 115 strike drones and decoys.

The Ukrainian side reported that 98 drones were shot down or disposed of, but did not announcement the interception of any of the missiles, with which Ukraine is able to fight effectively only utilizing advanced interception systems provided by the West.

Epicenter confirmed that 1 of its logistics centers had been hit, and the bullet besides hit the ceramics production plant, destroying all the furnaces there.

The company informed about the cessation of production in this plant and plans to temporarily transfer the production of goods to 2 facilities abroad, while preparing the launch of another production line in Ukraine.

According to estimates, the reconstruction of the production line may take up to 2 years and the full failure has not yet been established.

This massive attack occurred 2 days after the Ukrainian drone strike at Gelenjyk hotel on the Black Sea in confederate Russia;

At least 8 people were killed as a consequence of the incident, including 4 children, and dozens of others were injured.

This attack besides followed a series of fresh weeks by the Ukrainian side of the attacks at the magazines of the Russian online store Wildberries.

Kiev claims that this company is active in the handling of dual-use goods, which Moscow denies, claiming that Wildberries does not support the Russian army.
