On November 11, members of parliament from the German right-wing organization alternate for Germany AfD submitted a resolution to the Bundestag on cooperation on the German strategy towards Central Asia. Among the leading members of parliament who developed this strategy was the controversial MP Eugen Schmidt, who is besides the president of the group of parliamentarians who deal with relations with this region.
