The electoral law in our neighbour is 1 of the most complicated in the European Union. So even after the first circular of elections to the Seimas, or the Sejm, it is not yet possible to find who will govern Lithuania. In 2 weeks, there will be a run-off that could change a lot – after all, these are clashes in single-member constituencies. However, the left-wing opposition is presently the favorite. If it yet wins, we can anticipate certain changes in Vilnius' policy towards the war between Russia and Ukraine. The coalition of post-communists, a organization co-founded by a secret collaborator of the KGB, and yet a grouping that supports improving relations with Moscow will surely not be so radically anti-Russian and pro-Ukrainian.
